I just wanted to give the heads-up that Buzz Bicycles has their mid-drive electric bike, the Buzz Cerana on sale for just $799. It normally goes for $1499. This is one of the few budget-friendly mid-drive ebikes on the market. It has a 350-watt mid-drive motor with an advertised range of 40 miles.
It features four levels of pedal assist, 24 x 2.8″ tires that help bring it lower to the ground, disc brakes, and comes with a front basket. For $799, it’s an absolute steal. Why such a big discount? It’s possible that a new model is about to be released. The Cerana has been on the market for three years, so it’s certainly due for a refresh. I’ve noticed that Buzz has removed some of their other models from their site, including their two lightweight folding ebikes.
The Buzz Centris, pictured below, is also on sale for just $799. This is a fat-tire, folding ebike that provides excellent stability and a comfortable ride. Last year, I did a full review of the Centris, and very much enjoyed it. In fact, it’s still in my garage. You can read the review, here.

I don’t know how long the sale prices will last, but these are bargain prices.
Buzz Bikes is a brand of United Wheels, which also owns the brands Huffy Bicycles, Niner Bikes, Batch Bicycles, and others. Buzz Bikes are also UL Certified.
