Just last week I discovered KBO and their bike models, the Breeze an affordable commuter ebike, and their stealthy road bike inspired ebike, the Hurricane. This week, KBO announced another model, the KBO Breeze Step-Thru with the same great specs as the high step version.
The most notable difference between the Breeze Step-Thru and the regular Breeze is, well, the Breeze Step-Thru is a step-thru. Instead of a 31″ standover height, it’s only 18″ which makes the bike much more approachable for shorter riders and those who just prefer the convenience of a step-thru.
And step-thru’s make tons of sense for an ebike regardless of your height. It’s great to be able to straddle the frame when at a stop because ebikes are heavier than regular bikes and of course they’re motorized. It’s important to be able to control the bike and not have it control you.
