Fitibit Charge 3 and the Apple Watch Series 4
Fitibit Charge 3 and the Apple Watch Series 4 (40 mm)

Here’s a rundown of the best products (fitness trackers, smartwatches, outdoor/sports gear) I’ve reviewed and personally used over the past few years.  I thought it would be a good idea to have quick summaries of each so comparisons can be made more easily.

Garmin Forerunner 245 Music

Garmin Forerunner 245 Music

Brand new in 2019 is the Garmin Forerunner 245 Music and its non-music version.  What makes this GPS watch unique is that it has several of the navigational features found on Garmin’s hiking watches like the Instict and Fenix.  Of course, it is geared mostly for runners.  It’s comfortable, lightweight, and capable.  I picked it as the best runner’s watch in 2019!

Letscom Smartwatch
Letscom Smartwatch / Fitness Tracker

This is a super affordable entry level smartwatch with some good fitness features.  The heart rate sensor and connected GPS tested out terrific for me.  It also has a guided breathing feature to reduce stress and you can control music playing on your phone through the watch.  Very easy to use watch to fit anyone’s budget.

Fitbit Inspire HR

Fitbit Inspire HR

The Fitbit Inspire is Fitbit’s most affordable fitness tracker and brand new in 2019.  I was super impressed with the simplicity and charm of this tracker and I wasn’t expecting to be so happy with it.  It tested very well for fitness tracking, heart rate accuracy, sleep tracking and couldn’t be more comfortable to wear.

Polar Ignite

Also brand new in 2019 is the Polar Ignite.  This is the first Polar watch that I’ve reviewed, although I’ve used their chest heart rate monitors for quite a while.  It features guided workouts based upon physiological data that it collects.  It has probably the most advanced sleep tracking data of any watch, an easy to use fitness test to determine VO2Max, built-in GPS, and a lightweight/comfortable design.

FitVII GPS Smartwatch

FitVII GPS Smartwatch

Not many budget friendly smartwatches and fitness trackers have built-in GPS but the FitVII does and it tested out pretty good.  It also has a full touchscreen and physical buttons to operate the watch.  It also supports swimming and has an improved compass feature.  Worth a look if you want to spend under $100 on a GPS watch.

Fossil Sport

Fossil Sport

The Fossil Sport is a WearOS smartwatch with good fitness features.  I love the look and comfortable fit of this watch.  It’s also available in other colors and sizes.  It is a fun smartwatch to wear and is one of the few WearOS watches to have the latest processing chip.
